1. Tailpipe and impact end
Make sure the tailpipe is broken. Often caused by straight line deviations caused by wear on the piston or cylinder, lack of lubrication leads to extraction and water corrosion.

Wear of the spline grooves on the bottom of the drill often occurs on the abrasive bottom layer.
In highly abrasive formations, the bit body usually wears faster than the alloy teeth.
The main failure modes of down-the-hole drill bits are chipping and cracks, while wear is the secondary failure mode. The collapse of the drill bit and the crack are mainly caused by the unreasonable carburizing process, too deep infiltration layer, too high carbon concentration, coarse quenched structure, low hardness of the matrix structure after quenching, and excessive residual austenite on the surface.
